1st Snorkeling XTVT - Marine Centre Park

We went for lunch at 1.30pm (tiap2 kali waktu makan & snorkeling akan ade announcement, baguskan... so kena alert la), we had typical malay dishes and sweet watermelon. Overall the meals were not bad at all.

We prepared for our first snorkel xtvt (Google and life jacket rented at RM5 and will be used sepanjang masa kita ber"snorkel" kat sini, overall for our package we had 3 times snorkelling so we had to look into our equipments carefully coz kalau hilang dendanya sgt manyakk..)

Then at 2.15pm laungan "snorkeling2" berkumandang where we all needed to gather at the pier. All the excited faces, fully prepared and get ready for the first water exposore.

The boat took us to the Marine Centre Park which was our first place to snorkel, an island with beautiful beach.

The water was so clear you could directly saw the fishes and sea creatures. We brought some bread to feed the fish and enjoyed the inside water sceneries. Thanks and salute to Mr Shrek (Mas's water-proof camera) which was so usefull and acted greatly for this event. Here were some underwater photos taken by Mass

Ade sekor ikan tu siap pose pandang camera!

Kenapa la ikan2 nie suka kerumun mamat suar merah nie. Kalernya menarik perhatian kot. Ke perut dia sedap!!

We were given 2 hrs time for snorkeling so around 4.15pm, we were called back to the boat and back to our resort.

Specialnya Kalong resort nie, it had it's own private beach where we could enjoy other xtvt like canoeing, volleyball, or just main2 tepi pantai without gangguan org2luar. Its just for Kalong residence only.

What a wonderfull evening....

We had dinner right on time, then x sabar2 lagi nak memulakan xtvt karaoke. Pkul 8.30pm dh tercongok dpan pintu bilik karaoke. Malam adalah masa utk xtvt bebas, you can watch TV, playing pool, poker, pingpong and etc.

First, sesi memilih lagu...

After bantai more than 10songs back 2 back (smpai abg2 yg keje kat situ pun join gak karaoke, sibuk jer nk tumpang populariti), Syazwan invited us to have a walk to the Laguna beach on the other side of this island. Actually, we already been informed by Mr Tim during the welcome briefing that he did not encourage us to go there at night for some security issue (and after what I had experienced or heard to be exact) I understand why he gave such advise which i will tell ya later. However the attraction to go there was strong as what we heard and Google'd, that place is more happening at night. So there we were, 9 of us around 10pm berbekalkan cahaya bulan wandering along the beach and woods to our destination. Honestly when we reached that place, it's not as interesting as we expected (or maybe just me). The hassle that we went through along the way to be here is not worth it. For me it was just another place of luxury beaches same like Langkawi or Kuta at Bali. The place was nice it just we came there in a wrong time. Lots of the shop were already closed.
So much places to go. Have it your way

Sampai2 je amik gambar dulu

Not much activities to do here so after walking around we went back home to our resort. At our resort, without any attempt to continue "lepak2" lagi, all of us straighted back to our room. Tomorrow we got 2 snorkeling xtvt so better re-charged back the energy to go for full throttle tomorrow. After Isya' prayer... all of us climbed our bed and zzz.z.zz

Redang - Day 1

Ok, since Im in da mood to write tonight (despite my lack of free time + high workload), I will continue on my experience to Redang. Starting from where I stopped on my last post, all of us met at Hentian Putra around 10pm where the bus scheduled to depart at 10.30pm but due to certain circumtances, it was delay until 11.30pm.

Kak Yatie inside Hentian Duta, you can see the board at the back listed Transnasional to Kuala Terengganu at 10.30pm, bus no : WTC3771

And finally the bus arrived!

Posed with all the trip's member before naik bas (off course who's not in this photo was the one who took the photo, xcept Piyot)
DSC_0310

One more, much clear one but only me and Miss yatie
DSC_0311

Instead of single deck bus, we got the double decker one and all our seats were messed up. Mas & I sat at lower deck where I found quite relief since I was still not recover from my headache and having an experience sitting on the higher deck before, I knew how it like (and my prediction was right, as all members who sat above mengadu pening2 and terbuai2 bukan perasaan tp badan). Lina and Miss Yatie were separated x dpt dduk sama. First quater of the journey was a disaster. My head spinned to the max, nausea, isi2 perut dah bergelodak and felt like to vomit anytime expecially time menempuh Karak yg berpusing2 tu. The feeling slowly dissapeared afterward and I managed to make myself sleep. We stopped once at Chukai/Kemaman around 2.30am (x percaya?? Bas ni mmg sgt laju)where I quickly ran to buy panadol, had a fresh air outside the bus and lepak2 at the restaurant for hot drinks.
DSC_0315

We continued our journey afterward and reached Kuala Terengganu bus station at 5am.
DSC_0318

Sampai sana, our tour agent (Ping Anchorage) already waited and he brought us to the office first (not so far from the bus station) for us to stay buat2 ape yg patut sementara menunggu ke 7.30am utk bertolak ke Jeti Merang.
For those who could pray, we went for Subuh prayer first at the mosque nearby. (Masjid Abidin Kuala Terengganu)

OMG, my pinky crocs met her family at the mosque!!

Back to the Anchorage office, we gathered at the traveller cafe located at the roof of the building. Some spent the free time to continue sleeping;

Some who already awake played congkak to keep the momentum;

Some might just took photos;

While some might prefer to be just in the photo...hehehhe :P

But on top of that, there were two people who on RIVAL, trying hard to be outstanding from another, ended up wearing the same colour of T-shirt!!! Since that day they had become DIGI team and become friend forever!
DSC06006

Back to our trip, we had our breakfast odw to Merang and it was my first experience breakfast nasi dagang.
DSC_0349

My nasi dagang with pulut ikan... Sgt sedap (or mmg tgh lapar time tu)
P3262401

We continued our journey and arrived at jetty around 8.30am where we needed to wait (again??) for the boats. Quite a lots jgkla visitor arinie. As per Lina's we were consider as an early birds for this season as normally Redang will close end to early of the year because of the monsoon. So price was quite cheap.
As ussual while waiting, we had a photoshoots at the jetty area.

Nice view taken by Miss Yatie
DSC_0355

As schedule the boats arrived at 9pm, however due to the low tide, the boats could not parked (hahahah skali mcm keta lak aku guna perkataan park nie), hmmm landed (that's much suitable word) at the jetty. Instead its waited for us a bit far from the beach, at the deeper site of the sea. You can see how deep by measuring the level of that man inside the water. (The marked one). Almost paras pinggang tu!!
P3262424

We had to prepare to be wet and went through the sea water to the boats.
P3262420

"Come2, dont scared" Akbar motivated us. Haha!
IMG_0311

Sekali bila tgk keadaan time tu mmg meriah. Mcam pendatang asing beramai2 naik tongkang dgn beg besar suma.
IMG_0310

All the boats here were normally runs bt the resort itselves, so once we heard they called Kalong..Kalong which was our resort, we headed to the boat and started the water trip to Redang Kalong.
IMG_0313

45mins in the boat, mcm naik kuda finally we reached to our resort. Only 2 words emerged in my mind, subhanallah for the magnificent panorama and alhamdullilah for the chance to experience it.
IMG_0319

We gathered at the open dining hall, had a short briefing from Mr Tim (org kuat Redang)

Registration & signing the T&C

Then saat yg ditunggu checked in to our super comfort room. Our room was located on the 2nd floor, the ground floor was a room to store equipment for snorkeling and diving.

Some photos taken in our room using tripod. Katil sorang satu tu!!
DSC06039

There were 3 rooms on that floor, we were next to the single guys room while Syazwan & Dee's room on the other building.
*Pose gedix infront of the guys room. Room service..room service. Hahahah :P
DSC_0436

Good things about our room were, ianya mmg betul2 facing the sea,
DSC_0434

and also next to the dining hall so it was like centre of everything. Heheheh.
(Behind us was the dining hall)

Keseluruhannya mmg sgt puas hati. Chaiyok Lina!!

I will update our first snorkeling XTVT on the next post. Stay tuned!
