Perlis Trip - The Journey & Gua Kelam

25th February 2010 (Friday)

We started our journey early in the morning where Lina took us around 8am. After picked up Kak Yatie n Kayrie at Cheras we headed to Jalan Duta and exited to Plus Highway. Since each of us did’nt took any breakfast yet, we stopped at Sg Buloh R&R. It was Maulidur Rasul holiday (birthday of Muhamad, our prophet), so that area was quite packed with people especially those who were just back from the Maulidur Rasul Assembly at Putrajaya.

When we saw one uncle sat lonely at one table and almost finished his breakfast, Lina quickly asked him to reserve the table for us… huhuhu that was how we managed to get our seats.

Once everybody full, we took some photos at the R&R and then continue our journey.

We had such a fun and errr…. I would say informative journey as for this time, our trip member consisted of people from different background such as Kayrie, a teacher and my sister, Aishah a doctor to be. If everybody thought that Im talkative and non-stop “penglipulara”, you should meet Kayrie. With her experiences as a teacher plus reference from Aishah, she had inserted us with so much knowledge related to everything we saw along the journey. Ade jer pop-quiz yg nk ditanya....

Example : What is the scientific name of buffalo?

What is the acceleration of this motorcycle? Sekali Adnan Sempit da… Steady la bro!!

DSC_0013

Finally after few time changes of driver we reached Kedah, but not yet Perlis as we stopped first for lunch at Gurun R&R around 2pm.

You might wonder why I took photo at the toilet signboard, like there was no other interesting places there. Please look at my background; it was the Gunung Jerai that I wanted to highlight to you all.

DSC_0020

I rarely reached here, my first time actually. So bolela kasi taruk gambar ini sbgai kenangan.

Amik gambo lagi kat perkarangan R&R. The more we headed to North, the hotter we felt. No wonder it been called GURUN (desert), as the weather was so hot n dry.

Ni gambar mahal….

DSC_0028

I never thought that Perlis was so far, I estimated the journey would take longest 6 hours however due to frequent stops at R&R we reached the exit to Alor Setar nearly 4.30pm. En Asri the homestay owner already called me numerous time since I promised him that I will be at Kangar around 3pm. Tersasar nampaknya..

A glimpse of Kedah…. Sawah padi yg membuatkan kami suma excited

DSC_0040

We met En Asri at Kangar, (luckily Kayrie mmg arif area Kangar so it’s quite easy for us to find the place). Then he brought us to our homestay at Taman Hijriah. It was a single terrace house at corner lot with 2 rooms and 1 toilet. Very comfortable with suitable price.

Once payment made, we quickly changed our cloth and got ready to Gua Kelam. Its already 6pm so we didn’t know either we could make it or not however since our time was very tight and limited we just proceed with the plan. Sempat x sempat asal dpt jejak kaki amik2 gambar pun ok.

Kelam kabut kemas barang…. (cantikkan homestay kami??)

Ok suma siap dgn baju kununnya nak trus terjun sungai kat Gua Kelam

Ok lets go!!!

Antara pemandangan menarik along the journey to Gua Kelam at Kaki Bukit :

Im interested with the kubah masjid nie, mcm buntut pemadam.

DSC_0068

OMG, 10km more… we passed through the estate, woods and jln yg sunyi sepi dkat2 maghrib so frankly it was a bit creepy jgk la.

DSC_0073

Alhamdulilah kami sampai jua walaupun ade lost skit. Berkat tanya org kampong….

Melangkah dgn penuh bergaya ke pintu masuk gua

There were few peoples who just arrived the same time like us, unfortunately we saw that the entrance to the cave was already closed. At first we thought we already late but when we drew nearer we saw this sign :

WTH?? X de hari lain ke nak wat maintenance. Dah la dtg dr jauh, tgk siap ade train nak tour cave teruja dibuatnya. Nk buat mcmmana xde rezeki. Jadi we just amik2 gambo je la. Nak mandi dh petang sgt… nyamuk2 dah start mencari mangsa, monyet2 pun dah berkeliaran

Lina nk merayap ke mana lah kt blakang tu...

P2261965

Sempena Maulidur rasul, menghayati kejadian nabi menerima wahyu pertama di Gua Hira’

P2261976

Its already dark, everybody mula rasa x selesa jadi cepat2 la naik keta balik ke homestay. Sempat lagi baca ayat2 ape yg patut, ye la mana tau coz maghrib2 kat dlm hutan takut nanti ade “benda” yg follow ker. Nasib baik xde kejadian yg x di ingini berlaku, its just that I thought I saw “something” crossed the road when we already on the way out from Gua Kelam. Lina was driving while I was on the next seat, since no body said anything I assumed maybe it was my sight problem (it was very hot and Im tired, dizzy so maybe I imagined it…). But that was it, anything from that NO… alhamdullilah.

Aerobic Class - Presint 14 Putrajaya

I got an invitation to conduct an aerobic for Presint 14 community, Putrajaya every Saturday at 7.30am. It was ZT who suggested my name to the chairman of P14 community, En Husni during their meeting. As you know, mostly of the Putrajaya residences are government staff so they got some budget allocated for the recreation of their blocks, however the commitmence from "kaum2 ibu" yg x berapa memberangsangkan. One issue here was ZT and I were outsider, we were here on Miza's ticket as Zt stayed with Miza. Luckily En Husni was very desperate to activate the club, he even asked us to bring more friend just to fullfill the quota and encourage more participation from ladies in outdoor activities regardless either we are the P14 member or not.

(Presint 14 blog announcement).

So our first class was held on 06th Feb, I slept at Zt's house a night before the event as we got plan to hang out with SWG at G-CITY ALAMANDA. . We posted the announcement inside the elevator and slept damn late (practicing the steps of course) and woke up early at 5.30am.

Ready for the aerobic (Can you see our announcement on my back?)

DSC00884

The aerobic supposed to be held at the badminton court with the sound system all prepared by En Husni, however we waited until 8am sadly no one came to install anything. There were only 5 peoples who joined us, and that was OK. The only thing that made me dissapointed was the radio/speaker promised to us was not available. En Husni apologized and informed us that the person in-charged for the equipment was MIA. What??? You asked people to help and this is what we got in return? Where is your cooperation and commitment? Our final solution was to play the music from our mobile phone. Pity us...

Before the class started

Overall the session was fun (even without the real sound system!). Its much lighter than the one we had in my office since they were all still fresh with no experience in aerobic. Class ended around 9pm, everyone were excited for the next class which will be confirmed later. I lepak2 jap then lunch at Bangi after that terus balik umah!

Gambar kenangan with the aerobic members

P/S : Since that meeting, En Husni started to call me & ZT cikgu, sian gak dgn dia because he was so semangat nak mengaktifkan persatuan dia. Always asked when Im free to conduct the next aerobic, added me at Facebook, invited me to be P14 community and also give us the password to update their blog. Well until now the aerobic is still suspended, however I really looking forward for my free time to continue the class. Insyaallah...............

G-City Alamanda

Last Friday I hanged out with my lovely ladies from So Sweet Grup (SWG) at Alamanda.

We had dinner at the food court first.

Initial plan was to play bowling, however the place was fully booked, imagine another 20 names on the list before our turn came in.

Alternatively we went to the opposite entertainment centre, G-City. We went to the cashier to buy the coins.

Lumayankan.... Most of the games required 2coins (min) and 1 coin = 50cents. Imagine how many games we could play with this much of coins....?

All the excited faces.. Suma dah x sabar nak jadi budak2 balik!

The real child in the house... Trisya

Warm up... main tembak2 dulu. Residence evil, shoot the evils!!

Fuhhh... hebat la tuh!

I don't know what's the name of this game... Some sort like table tennis. Seems like Kak Maz and Zt really enjoy it a lot!!

(OMG, why so stupid... it stated clearly there, Ice Hockey LOL!!!)

The most favourite games among all. Car racing a.k.a DAYTONA.

We were like playing the game again and again sampai lebam. Most of our coins habis kat sini. It's been a long time we never been to the entertainment centre to play video games. When I was teenager, most of us went to Sogo as it was very famous that time for the place to hang out + play video games (well video games/play station was very rare to get that time u see) so kedai2 game ni mmg sgt fofular. I even remember that was the place for my first date. Legend tu. Ok that was how people in 90's dating hokey....................

So finally before went home, utk menghabiskan coins yg ade, presenting to U the most challenging action by 2 otai of SWG. Cayala....!!!

Till then, bye...........

Mission Impossible - The Party

Tuesday - 26th January 2010

Hari di tunggu tiba, on the lunch time everybody already prepared with their foods and brought down to the meeting room. We still keep it secret from Mr Balan, we just told him to come at the meeting room on the lunch time for some discussion. Of course he could smell something but he did'nt get any idea that we prepared ourselves all the foods which will make him touched later.

ZT and Fizah arranged the foods
