In conjunction with Treasure Hunt that I involved last month, I got 3 compliments voucher. 2 of it I gave to Lina and Abg Fadzil for their participant where each was a stay of 2days 1night for 2persons + breakfast at Equatorial Hotel, Cameron Highland. Both will be expired by end of Aug this year so need to redeem it fast. As for me, I picked a voucher for 3days-2 night stay at Endau-Rompin Beach Resort, Pahang which also expired by end of August this year. I didn't have a specific reason to choose the place, it just because I never been there and the stay were quite longer. Never came in my mind yet when I wanted to go or who I would bring together with me. Luckily the voucher came just in the right time and place where Nick suddenly asked us (Geng Lembu) for a short vacation.
Geng Lembu (GLEM): My clicks when I was at MRSM. We'd been called that way by the boys (yes they were so mean and rude) due to our habits to wear red T-shirt and we always look so brutal by their judgement. As the matter of fact, we just a normal decent girls except we were not that girlish and feminine like other girls. Our group members were Nick, Yantie, Jenot, Liny, Along, Tote, CTK and me (who the boys always refer as leader of the group). Chit!!
It was such a weird request though, considering it came form Nick who totally lost contact with us once she got married. Started form our photo’s comments on FB, Nick who occasionally online appeared and suggested for an escape from her family-hood routine. Just once for all girls (no husband allowed) to have a feel of bachelor life back. Transportation and all accommodation would be on her treat. Yes she was that desperate. A chance to utilize my voucher, I recommended them this place furthermore why to waste if we already got a free things. Some more, at least we already have a place to look into, Endau-Rompin so no needs to suggest and vote a place to go.
After everybody agreed, the preparation was just easy and simple. I called for reservation and confirm that we will stay on 22/7 until 24/7/2010. There will be 3 of us, Yantie, Nick and me. Unfortunately my friend, Jenot who just completed her PHD at UK is unable to join even she was so excited to go for this trip. It has been a long time we didn't meet however her flight to Malaysia will be on 23/7 so she miss the trip. I tried to bring our holiday forward to the next week but the rooms are fully booked. Sorry my friend, I know you frustrated but there is nothing I can do. I already tried but maybe this is not your luck. Don’t worry there is always next time, I promise to arrange another trip for you ok? You can keep my word darling…
