Neither this nor that....

One day to go.... I got a mix emotions; sad to leave, but excited in the same time. Worried but not hesitate. I just got an offer letter and now very lazy to do anything. My mind totally blur an empty, but still not ready to start at new place yet. I just wanted to rest and recharge back my battery for all purposes. Gosh.. I hate this situation. I have to be strong. SAILORMOON please come.. MAKE UP!!

Murphy Oil n Gas Futsal Tournament

Day / Date : Saturday (25 April 2009)
Venue : Ampang Sports Planet

I helped my friend, Lina as a committee member for her office Futsal Tournament. It was an inter-office cempetition and there were 8 teams all together; separated into 2-groups A and B. Lina picked me up at 8pm, fetched another friend, Kak Yati on da way and went to Ampang Sports Planet. Registration started at 8.30pm so as the organizer we had to ensure everything was prepared before the game started. Most of da committee members were my friends (and non of them are murphysian... hahahah), well we just supported Lina and had fun on the same time. There were Syazwan (the MC, score keeper and the most busiest man that day la...), Hisham with Akbar the assistant who provided breakfast n lunch, Din n wife who provided drinks and ME who was appointed as a score keeper too. Game started at 9pm and finished at 1pm.

Me and beastie Lina, with her team jersey

Imigresen, HAIR coloured, Bohsia & JaMMing...

Morning World....

Its Friday and today Im ON LEAVED... What a beautifull day. Well today my schedule will be quite packed. First right after breakfast, I need to go to Immigration to update my passport status. I will be going for holiday next week.. YAHOO!! Few days left before my resignation, so I need to prepare mentally and physically before started at the new place.

Talking about START, for me it means the beginning of one phase, new & fresh and its just made me felt so motivated in creating a new version of myself. Learning, improving and contributing are few aspect that will be applied in the process to turning myself for a better person. So why not I start with a bit of changes physically as a motivation. Let say new image, I mean new fresh image so the bored-looking image will be vanished and transforming to the new look as a trigger to my mind so that I will keep updating myself and not stay at an "old curve" forever. Hahha, ok..ok la straight to my point, I wanted to get hair coloured today. Maybe highlight too!! (I need to check the cost first). I'm also determined to keep my hair long (never had a long hair before) after been encouraged by my friend. Well we wait n see OK.

After my hair job's done, my next plan is to watch movie which on my friend's treat. (Thanks Najmiey, luv ya!!!). He will "belanja" me for lunch too!! What a great friend he is... We will watch "BOHSIA" at 3pm. Then as ussual, its Friday once again my friend, so tonite I will be attending a BODY JAM class. One of my fav! Dancing queen will be back on the dance floor. Cant wait for IT xpecially with my new hair. Wahhhh..... I LIKE!!

Sekian sahaja laporan buat hari ini. Salam Hormat!

Aquaria KLCC - An Ocean Discovery

" Putri Selinda Aka-Nick : Lyn, Aquaria dis week jom.Kang kempunan plak aku tak g lg ke sana huhuhu

Hazelin AR : Admission fee = RM30++. Kau nak belanje ke?

Putri Selinda Aka-Nick : iya sudah tentu "

It’s all how it started. My best friend (Nick) is like a weekend planner for me who always finds a brilliant activity to slot in our weekend anytime when we’re not back to our hometown or when we’re desperately free. Well it’s a SINGLE girl things… hahahahaa. We finally planned to visit Aquaria KLCC!!

P4051473

If you are agree with me, I felt embarrass to be KL resident, stay in KL and more worst born in KL but didn't even reached to one of it’s most attractive place. Added to my guilty when I had already visited Aquaria/Underwater World (whatever they called it but the concept is similar) in Singapore and Langkawi, so I started to think “Haiya yg jauh U can go…. This one just nearer pun U x sampai lagi ka??”
Adoi… dat's what bothering me so I accepted Nick's invitation with open heart (plus it was on her treat hahahaha). Yeahh there is absolutely no reason to say NO.

That was it, on Sunday 5th of April I drove out from my house after lunch (well can’t resist a lunch meal from my sister lorr..) then headed to Nick’s house. I parked my car there and swapped to her car straight to KLCC. It was raining so the idea for something “indoor” was really a good idea. It was the same day where F1 racing held at Sepang, however due to weather condition, the game was re-scheduled to end earlier. See.... like I said indoor xtvt was a perfect option.

Well a bit info about Aquaria KLCC, it is a world-class aquarium that showcases animals and various types of colorful marine life species from Malaysia and around the world that is located in KLCC, adjacent to the PETRONAS Twin Towers nearly in the heart/centre ok KL city. (Dats why I told you it is unforgiven for those who didn’t visit here yet but can spent almost every weeks to watch movie at KLCC). A visit to the Aquaria KLCC will take you through a journey of discovery in education as well as eco- tourism, supported by the latest technology with a mesmerizing ambience. Interactive kiosks are also available for visitors to go on a virtual adventure in exploring other exciting creatures that inhabit the world’s ocean

Most of the visitors are student group since it’s an educational place and really suitable for a school trip. There is a screen projectors along the Discovery Zones of the aquarium with fascinating information and facts on the wonderful animals exhibited within Aquaria KLCC. Entrance fee for a citizen adult is RM28/person while RM22 for children. Compare the price with what we had experienced, saw, learn and discovered here was really worth it. The decoration and arrangement are really attractive and interesting. The place is divided into several sections depends on types or species of underwater life and not to be miss an underwater walkway tunnel that awaits you towards the end of the exhibition. It made us felt like walking in a glass tube inside a deep ocean coz we can see sharks and other ocean fishes swimming right above our head and even a sinking ship.. (a titanic perhaps..). The rich marine life is seen through the acrylic class as you walk underneath it. This really suits the objectives of this place as a learning centre for marine inhabitants, to understand its importance and role in balancing the ecosystem and educated us to protect and preserve it.

Gerimis Mengundang @ Botanical Garden, Putrajaya

I always plan to be “beachy” (well going to the beach la… ) but always failed in finding a perfect time to go there, so its not a shocking news when I planned, again...with Nick to have a picnic at Gold Coast, Sepang this week. It's nearer so we could estimate our spending (both financial n time). I asked her to sleep at my house on Saturday so that she could watch AF concert (her ASTRO line already cut down) and it’s easier for us to go picnic on the next day. We bought lots of snacks which was a heaven for my niece and nephew, enjoyed watching TV and slept quite late at night.

Muka excited nak berjalan!!

Early in da morning we woke up, prepared breakfast (beli jer nasi lemak…) and siap2 ape yg patut. We decided to go out after melody programme finished. Unfortunately the inconsistent condition of weather had made us swapped our plan. Luckily I already prepared with the back up programme since the past 1 week, it's raining frequently so I already anticipated this condition might be happened. Alternatively we decided to go to Botanical Garden, Putrajaya coz it's nearer and we could have a photo shoot session with great panorama and enjoying a beautiful flora and fauna there. . I believe in nature brings therapeutic effect to human who are willing to spend some times with it. So here I go again…been philosophy. After all it’s not a place that matter but the time that we wanted to consume with constructive activity that’s matter.

For those who never visit Botanical Garden at Putrajaya, it’s a famous garden nearest lake of Putrajaya similar like Lake Garden at Kuala Lumpur. The man made tropical botanical garden of Taman Botani was established in Putrajaya of which the landscape of the city was to be designed as the "City in the Garden". Taman Botani is one of the many gardens that has been gazetted for development as a tropical garden. The garden is divided into 5 different themes. They are the Explorer's Trail, Palm Hill, Floral Gardens, Sun Garden and the Lakeside. The admission to the garden if FREE. Tram services are available for a fee of RM4 for adult and RM3 for children. If you want to sweat out, bicycle and paddle boat can be rented from Tuesdays to Sundays. There’s also cafĂ© restaurant nearby but never had a chance to try it yet.

So that’s a brief info about Botanical Garden. Back to my trip, I also brought my niece Arisha together in case when I need assistance to take photo together with Nick…

Hahaha just kidding lorrrr but infact she’s really was a good photographer (refer a photo of Nick and me), so superb!!. Since the rains were just about to stop when we reached there, the condition was damp and wet but for the sake of photography session, we went through all the “becak” and “lecak” as long as it could give us a good photo as a result. We didn’t manage to explore the whole garden coz it’s started to rain once again. We just had a few photo shoots, wandering the lake area and enjoyed finishing our junk foods.

Just arrived. Putrajaya Seafood sign...

Skrg nie mmg pose loncat2 nie tgh IN so try sket la.... Jump..jump...!!

Once we finished ber"pose" gedix disini, the rain started to fall once again and it's nearly dusk on the same time so we called it a quit then quickly back to our car and went home. What a day... eventhough the weather had spoilt our plan, we really enjoy our time a lot and at least we got experience to visit other place. Think positive, there will be always next time for other plan. Insyaallah....

I stop my writing here. Till then, see you in next post. Muakss....

P/S : Hopefully I can update U on my trip to Gold Coast later… of course once I had successfully reached there lorrr.

Another weekend at my Hometown

18-20th April 2009 : KL - Malacca

Hello everybody… well I woke up early in da morning…at 9am hehehhe but considering it was weekend so still earlykan…, took a bath and packed all my stuff. Im going to “balik kampung” today… YAHOO!! 1st time driving alone coz normally my sister will accompany me.. since she’s already married so I got no assistant lor… I had a piece of whole grain bread for breakfast and started my journey using new LEKAS highway. Driving quite fast but not furious ehehehe (I saw my meter already reached 140km/hr) opsss so I slowed down and enjoyed the sceneries along the way but still need to catch up so that I will reach there before 1pm. (there’s a kenduri kawen that I need to attend).

LEKAS highway should connect Kajang to Seremban but the construction is still not completed yet so I need to exit at Mantin and used normal route (Jalan lama) to Seremban and straight to Tampin. At Senawang I had passed through the famous Cendol Leman Dawi stall and as ussual it’s packed with customers..Hmmm maybe I should make a new post about it later. Ya good idea. Next time ok. That’s one of the reason I’m using “jalan lama” rather than PLUS highway because while on the way on this journey, I will pass through the areas and districts at Negeri Sembilan. It gives me chances to see and capture all the beautiful places, their culture, landmarks and historical buildings. Of course I wanted to make each journey of my life meaningfull and discovers as much as I enjoyed what I had saw and experienced. I also believed that each places have their own unique identity and contained full of messages or secrets that can only be revealed for those who are interested to find out. Here are some photos that I managed to take while driving but please don’t attempt to copy this action coz I know it was wrong and dangerous unless you’re expert like me. Hahahaha.. but seriously it’s still wrong and I did warned U all okey!!

Southern Bus - a public bus. Feels like be at the town in 80's era kan.The un-air conditioner buses are still exist and operated. Rembau district, NS.

I reached house at 1pm, if not because all the slow motion lorries I managed to get here earlier. My mom already prepared so I quickly change and straight to Bukit Katil, Malacca for the wedding. It was my cousin wedding from my late father’s side so all of his relatives were there. I took some photos with them but didn't get a chance to take a photo with the “pengantin” LOL.. I had a heavy lunch there (of course after just a piece of bread so my stomach started to rumble and Im starving!!), the food was nice especially the “acar mangga”. My mum had a double take and forced me to “tambah” as well… (It’s ruined my diet..!!!).. We went home around 4pm. I recognized something that makes me proud here which is my ability in remembering ways and spotted one place easily. Meaning that my knowledge about “jalan2 in Malaysia” well to be specific Malacca, N. Sembilan n KL already increased. HHAHAHHAA… Now Im resting at my lovely house, my heaven with my mommy and Creamy aka Ci Putih.. miow..miow….. What a wonderfull moment here. This is a peace after a few weeks of hard work. Gotta go coz I need to concentrate on the AF7 concert now… See you again in next post. Da…..
