CNY Special - Broga Hill Conquered

Broga Hill – an amazing beauty hill landscape with full sunrise scenery view when you’re on top of the hill. In this recent days, Broga Hill (also known as Bukit Lalang) is getting very famous as the destination spot for novice hikers and avid nature photographers. Located near to Nottingham University Semenyih, Broga Hill is about 30 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur city center.

It was a surprise when my sister (Along), who had a back-to-shape mission this year suddenly wanted to join me for a hiking xtvt at Bukit Tabur with my office mates. Well, it was not just her first experience as it was mine too. Ok, we do have some experiences during those old school days, however compared to what sizes we have right now.... lets just keep the old stories/achievement in our memory. Now, it would be a different story and another challenge. As a warm-up and exposure to the hiking xtvt, I decided to take all my sisters to conquer Broga Hill first.

Along successfully persuaded her hubby, Ucu n hubby to go. Semangat sampai mlm tu all of the sisters went to downtown bazaar to find jerseys and pants. So a week before my xtvt to Bukit Tabur, on the CNY holiday.. our mission began. Luckily mom was here to take care of the children.

We woke up very early at 5.00am. Along & bibik made breakfast (Nasi lemak, sardine and egg sandwiches). At 6.30am, after ucu came and together had breakfast, all of us packed in Along,s Hilux heading to Semenyih Town before turn to Broga (with signboard).

The moment we reached, we found out that we were not the early bird group, in fact, a lot more peoples already at top of hill for sunrise view.

We parked our car inside the palm plantation. As we wanted to save our time, we immediately moved out. It was still dark so a torch light was highly required. There were few trails available however we just follow an experience-looking group before us and most of other hikers also just follow any group that looks confident to them.

The starting point is much straight forward without hesitation. Its just the darkness so you have to beware on the hole or any root that would make you tripped or slipped. Luckily the track was dry and not slippery.

We stopped to catch a breath a while...

And continue... still dark kan?

At the point where we met this steep path, we started to focus our energy and soul.

We rested again in the middle of the path. Along, (probably too much on the breakfast) started to vomit. However she would never fail to give her best pose every time I took her picture. Bravo!!!

(You can see the steep path at the last photo tu)

Sun was about to rise...

Our legs got sour but the view was truly captivating up there. None of us was complaining. Once we reached the first peak, we sighed our relief.

Finally.........

We found our rest station and breathing properly while enjoying the scenery....

Peoples started posing for camera. Cameramen got spotted here. It was truly amazing atmosphere for photography making.

We also didn't want to miss a chance, pull out our cameras too!

1,2,3 action!!!

The trooper!...

The sisters....

The Kardashian Razak's sisters...

The heat is not that unbearable in between 7-9am, only after that, it started to burn your skin as a whole. No tree shelter or anywhere can hide. You’re exposing yourself fully to sun light.

I didn't see any sunburn threat in the early morning. Infact the wind blew strongly and I felt like in the highland like Cameron or Genting. Chill yo!!

Untitled-4

Since Broga Hill got it's name from the lalang (grass) that grows wildly here, we took a tribute photos inside the lalang...

It was me who the first did the experiment..

Then other's copycat!!!

Ucu and Uda

Untitled-5

This rock reminded me of the Lion King movie.. I know people might suggest better if I pose berdiri however can you see betapa gentingnya batu tu... and trust me if I fell behind, there was nothing to support me except the cliff!!

Kalau berdiri pun sipi2 jer mcm this photo..

Untitled-12

We went to 2nd spot. From here we could see the road that we use to come here before and a clear view of sunrise.

Family photo again...

Speechless... I really lost words to describe the beauty of this view. Subhanallah........

All the tiredness, semput, lelah hilang sekelip mata saat menyaksikan panorama yg begitu indah di depan mata. Plus cuaca g sgt nyaman.. Honestly rasa mcm xnak balik!!

Update..jgn x update. Got signal here!

Continued posing...

Untitled-7

My shoes di hari2 terakhir riwayatnya. You'd been so loyal and berjasa to me...

Ucu n hubby with pose "Fantasia Bulan Madunya"

Along and hubby with pose 'Serapah Bulan Madunya" (Gurau ok... :D)

What's da...????

Having successfully climbed to first peak was already a sense of achievement. For Along, it was rather tired but satisfy.

Ucu, me n Uda on the other hand, were excited to the second peak. The great scenery was starting from here.

More Lalang poses

Last photo before went down the hill

If climbing the hill would take around 40mins, to go down was shorter. You could just slide like I did (since my shoes already kehilangan tapak sebelah) or some people just ran down. One for sure once you reached down the hill, skru2 lutut suma akan longgar rasa mcm nk tercabut.

Luckily kat bawah tu ade stall yg jual agar2 kelapa. Strategi beb sbb mmg lariss..

Untitled-11

Lepak2 hilang lenguh lutut. This kind of xtvt bukan shj mengeratkan kasih sayang sesama adik beradik....

Malahan sesama suami-isteri yg br berkahwin......

Dan juga pasangan suami-isteri yg dah lama berkahwin...

People nowadays are concern about health, so besides go to jog at the recreational park, hit the gym or poco2.... this is another xtvt that can keep us healthy and tighten the family bonding as well. As long as we practice all the safety measurements, insyallah this xtvt will be fun and you will want for more like I did!!

Next trip... will be extended up to Gunung Tok Wan. Insyaallah...

Finally reached home and continued breakfast.
These were the all contestants of the Bukit Tabur hiking. Congratulations to all of your achievement in driving your owner to the top and back home safely. Chaiyokk...!!

I stopped my writing here and wishing all the Chinese a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and to all readers, have a nice holiday ok!!
