Raya at Batu Gajah, Perak (Day 1)

Salam Satu Malaysia to All Sweet Readers!!!

Alhamdullilah, I'm currently at my uncle's house, Pak Ngah at Batu Gajah, Perak. Well u should know by now if anytime I told U that I visited my relative either at Perak or any part at north of Malaysia, there will be no other place than here. All my relatives from both parents site dwelling around south part of Malaysia only you see..

Back to my trip, I went here with mama, Uda n Arisha. Initial plan to take a train and we were really excited to try the new ETS train (kabarnya lebey pantas n ade steward/dess). U can get the info HERE

Semangat, pagi2 yg indah mama and I went to Kajang commuter (KTM) to get the ticket but been informed at the counter that the ticket was available but they cannot sell it (wth..?). Rupanya there was a heavy flood at Sg. Buloh area, so it was not advisable to use the train. Anyone who already bought the ticket will be transferred to the bus at KL Sentral and only at Rawang they can continue to the North Part by train again.

So no luck with ETS, that's mean I needed to drive. Br berangan nk lepak2 naik train. Wargghh....

Initially was a smooth journey....

We departed from house at 11am, as usual stopped at Tapah for lunch around 12.30pm.

Sampai2 je.... my niece Arisha went to the souvenir stall to buy the now-in-trend item, ANGRY BIRD!

Mama plak survey2 rendang tok and traditional cookies.

Uda got for us drinks from cool blog

Over... Arisha finally berjaya mencaras aunty2nya to buy 2 Angry Birds!!

Tapah RnR is famous for its local fruit stalls and the most famous fruit... of course GUAVA. If you want to grow it at home, you may buy the plant here also.

The traffic after our stop at Tapah was a bit congested, and we encountered a few accidents that also contributed to the heavy traffic along the journey.

KELLY's CASTLE located at Batu Gajah, on the way to Pak Ngah's house.

We just stopped and took photos from distance then continued our journey.

Reached Pak Ngah house around 3pm... (yes beside the traffic, I drove a bit berhemah today.. Lambat sket la). Sampai2, rupanya rumah Pak Ngah currently under construction. Xde apepun, cuma proses tuka bumbung was in progress. Ingatkan Pak Ngah nak buang saka td cabut bumbung... (ok mengarut).

One thing yg best kt umah pak ngah nie beside the lake/mine (lombong) that located next to his house, we will always treated like a king here especially in the term of food. Smpai2 dh merasa jambu Vietnam yg maha besar n manis.. (pak ngah mmg tau saya suka jambu)!

Shortly after nap, we went to the lake... I was at the lake and you can see the distance from Pak Ngah's house right. Very near!!

The views....

Cam-whored...

Arisha ni mmg kaki pose..

The weather turned dark. Almost raining so we all went inside the house at dusk.

For dinner, my cousin Mahani had brought a freshly caught prawn... Apalagi makan busat la. Makan nasi, pajeri terung, asam pedas n Udang masak cili. Ratah udang je smpai nak meletup perut.

Nothing much to do after dinner, just watched TV and had a chit-chat with Pak Ngah & Mak Ngah + Cousin. Later one by one, we went to sleep.

I think dats all for day 1, to be continued ok! LOVE!!
