Endau-Rompin : Beach Treats (Part 4)

Hi bertemu kita kembali di dlm ruangan makan angin ke Endau-Rompin...

Pantai Penyabong, Endau Johor

Back to our detour to Pantai Penyabung after been recommended by Kind-Hearted_Uncle we met at Jetty Tg. Gemuk. It only took around 10-15mins from jetty to Pantai Penyabung and along the way there, I was impressed as in just 5mins I could “ulang-alik” Johor and Pahang. That’s why the place is called Endau_Rompin where Endau is in Johor territory while Rompin in Pahang states.

We reached at Pantai Penyabung!

Pantai Penyabung was not bad at all. We wanted beach, we got beach!! Satisfied, we started to "Cam-Whore" like crazy.

There was a pier extending from a shore over water for a landing place of boats and small ships. We headed there...

As you can see, there were few people sat there enjoying their peace-full fishing.

Some reminder for the visitors

Yes U saw it right. It were swordfishes... And according to the owner, (came along the way from JB with family who had fishing as a weekly family xtvt. So sweet..kan), he wanted to cook and make that swordfishes as "FISH AND CHIPS ". (Dunno la if he bluffed us kan...)

The view of the sea from this point was breathtaking. I also lucky as at this time one boat landed and had a photo with it.

Back to the shore, took a rest in front of the budget chalet which available quite plenty here. Mostly I reckoned, these chalets were reserved by "die-hard-fishing-lovers" who came here with their families, but to be left behind while they (the husbands to be exact) booked a boot for few days and went for fishing.

Such a colourfull canoes here!

Suddenly, something interesting had caught my attention...

It was a beautiful tiny island where we could just walk along the sea bank. Well I decided to go there with Yantoq. Considering that she wore a platform shoes that time, Nick was not interested to join our adventure.

Obviously Nick had made a right decision because it was quite dangerous to get there as the surface of the bank covered in rough stones and it might look near, but to go there was quite a distance and so UN-smooth. The rocks were not stood still on the ground. U have to be very carefull. You might slipped easily like I numerously did!

Tara... after all the hard work, it was just worth it. The place was so isolated, no people... but amazingly beautiful.

Then to make sure all the time spent, the sweat withdrawn, the calories burned, the energy consumed and the scratches we got equally paid, we took photos as much as we could until we satisfied coz I tell you, to get back to the shore would be another long story.

Heaven... isn't?

I felt like I've been in another world. Serene, peace and wonderfull!! Such a Pandora..

This looks like I've been in another planet. Marikh perhaps.. :D

Chameleon. Promote bag skit....

We could stay there longer however the most factor that worried us that time was tidal. Imagine if the tidal rise that made the island separated from the shore and we trapped there. More worse if the island completely submerged by the water... Astagfirullahualzim...

Quickly we back to the shore...

Only to found that Nick was really enjoying herself alone eating er... rambutan!!

Everybody started to feel hungry, we had a lunch here before continued to our second destination recommended by the local who was so kind to show us the place where we just followed him by car to Pantai Air Papan.
(What kind of charm that we used/wore for being so lucky along the trip eh? ;P)

Pantai Air Papan, Endau Johor

OK it sounds a little bit "dirty" if you try to say the word PANTAI with the "i" missing in the signboard behind me.

Sampai2, probably sicked of her platform shoes that made Nick's first destination here was to the row of shops selling souvenirs and beach attires and stuffs.

Well it's not much here. Just a typical beach like Pantai Klebang in Melaka.

If you followed all my trips to the beaches, it's hard not to find me without having a nice slurpp of coconut's drink there. It's a must! Walla....

Makcik sudah tuo.. mato pun dah x nampak nak amik gambo...

We didn't spent much time nor took many photos here. We headed back to our resort, still couldn't believe our luck in completing our day today with such a constructive and interesting plan. Thanks for all the information from the locals here. Kalau x mesti kitaorg dah meraban2 xde tujuan hidup... :D
