Endau-Rompin : Last Episode

Goodbye to Rompin Beach Resort

It came the end of our trip. Why the good moment will always have to end fast?... Still not enough time spent with my beloved friends, however I took it as a motivation. At least we have proven that we could still maintain our relationship and went for holiday together even we had other commitment, (though not as frequent as when we all are still single). More trip to come after this, insyaallah....

Back to our trip, we packed our thing, had our last breakfast and before checked out we toured all over this resort and took photos.

Me, infront of the resort.

Our room at the higher level (3rd floor) of the building. Chalets are available at the back facing the pool and near with the beach.

Goodbye RBR. Till we meet again.

We started our journey back to KL around 10pm and this time it was Nick's turn to drive. Since we already knew our route, our journey back was smooth and easy. From Rompin to Muadzam to Gemenchih. Last time we went to Gemenchih from Tampin-Rembau-Seremban highway, this time we try a different way from Kuala Pilah to Seremban.

Pilot, co-pilot and stewardess at the back! :D

Seremban map...

Ulu Bendul Recreational Park

Holla, this was unexpected. We were hungry (coz it's already lunch time) and we were LUCKY.... (Oh please don't get bored, yes lucky once more. It seems like luck was on our side all along this journey, Alhamdullilah...) We passed through the Ulu Bendul area so we stopped at the recreational park for lunch. I never been here before, so imagine my feeling. Super EXCITED!! Oh, before I go on with my ke"jakun"an, this is a bit about UBRP.

The Ulu Bendul Recreational Park
located some 16km from Seremban on the Kuala Pilah Sri Menanti route, at the foot of Bukit Angsi provides a welcome respite to the weary traveler. The park is one of the six recreational parks in Negeri Sembilan developed for eco-tourism purposes. Picnic lovers should find this place inviting because of its shady and leafy surroundings. The refreshing and cool water from the stream that meanders through the park offers a fun place for visitors bent on having a dip. For the more adventurous, they can go jungle-trekking. To savor the best out of this park, visitors may prefer to stay at the specially designated camping grounds or rent one of the chalets in the park.

Wow, there is a waterfall here... no wonder I felt cold and it refreshed us after 4hrs on journey. The food was ok, masak lemak cili api is of course the main dish kat N9 ni kan (makanan ruji den tue.. good!). Full, we continued to take a look around the place and took photos. So happy! Unbelievable, just heard it from friends who'd went here before and now, I've been there.

To the waterfall...

There were rows of shop selling snacks, souvenirs and local products. The building looks like an old castle. Mcm ruined Disneyland pun ade gak...

Lets take a look of what caught Nick’s attention..

What...? Tudung saji. Dlm byk2 tempat kat sini leh beli tudung saji. Such a good wife.. huhuhu.

Ok la tue. Can make the tudung saji as our props... :D

The Signs..

Selesai puas melawat kawasan we back to drive home, however it was still early. It was 2pm when we reached Seremban, and suddenly Nick popped up an idea to stop at Nilai3 for shopping.
See I told you, she was totally different now. She was not into a rough adventure, lack of interest on photo-shoot, and from the beginning when we asked her for an idea of where is the place to go at Rompin, she replied "Tempat shopping xde ke?". So now Ur wish granted Nick. As I told U, luck was following us along this journey, so everyone got their wish. So here we were, Nilai 3 Shopping Centre.

Nilai 3 Shopping Centre.

Nilai 3 Wholesale Centre is undoubtedly a one-stop destination of wholesale, tourist and shopping paradise that offers a wide variety of goods and items at very attractive and competitive prices. It is a famous place to shop your wedding stuff and also well-known place to buy a new and trendy textiles.

Though it was Nick's idea, seems like Yantoq and me who was so "beria" and excited, toured from one shop to another and finally bought ourselves each 2-3 pieces of cloth. Current trend was Japanese-cotton and 1-Malaysia silk, so we were like "rambang mata", choose from one textile to another, bargained for cheaper price, decided and undecided to buy.... performed all the normal woman's "fussy"ness during shopping la...

After done shopping, we dropped at the stall nearby to buy some local fruits for our families.

While waiting for Nick to buy the fruits, Yantoq and me went to the still-under-construction-park just across the stall and took photo... (sempat tu..)

All our missions accomplished, then we went home. This time really back to home, xde singgah2 mana2 dah...........

Fusshhh.... finally I completed my writing on Endau-Rompin Trip. It was such a trip with lots of luck and like my previous2 trip, I did learn, observed and experienced a lots. All the obstacles and challenges we've been through, when I remembered it back, it just made me laugh and I enjoyed it. It made me appreciate that Malaysia also have a lots of interesting places like other country. Who says holiday in Malaysia is no fun. Cuti-cuti Malaysia, support our country and love our country. Till then....... CHOW!
