Sydney, The Land of Oz - Bass Hill Holiday & Residential Park (Day 2)

Blue Mountain to Bass Hill Holiday Residential Park

Sejarah mungkin memang berulang...

We departed from Blue Mountain around 5pm and the journey to Sydney took approximately 2 1/2hours. We should speed up to avoid last incident (counter check in closed) from happening again, but like what Britney said "Oppss I did it again..!".. So the same with us 😅😅

It was raining and plus the winding road, we had to drive carefully. Once we entered the highway, the traffic was a bit congested. So once again by the time we reached the Base Hill Holiday & Residential Park around 8pm, the check in office already closed. But having the same experience before, we were no longer stupid. We checked for any note/envelope left for us and guess what, we found it!!! 😄😄 Not to encourage people to be not punctual, but if U did experience the same circumstance like us, probably you can check if there is any note left for you as we cannot foreseen what will come in future. Some problems might drag out time a little bit right??

Ok, since once again we were blessed with good people here so we managed to get our cabin number and the most important thing.. the key. This park located just next to Hume Highway and quite near with the city. Since we noticed there's a shopping mall just next with this park when we drove here earlier, we decided to go there first to top up some groceries for dinner.

Urban area

Woolworth supermarket also available in this mall, so we bought our stuff there.

Baby Musa was so amused with the chillies. Huge weren't it?

Done with our shopping, we back to Base Hill Park. Checked in our cabin, it has 2 bedrooms with one toilet outside the rooms.

Our room could be cozily occupied by up to 4 persons.

There was an air conditioner available at the living room, but no aircond nor fan provided in our room. However it was still cold at night that we could sleep well.

Overall this cabin was a little bit small compared to what we had in Windang Beach Tourist Park. However the price was a bit expansive since the location is much nearer with the city.

The kitchen and living room shared the same space while the dining table were just next to the couch. TV was hanging on the wall.

Microwave and stove are provided

Didn't complain though as we only had a short stay here and it was still comfortable.

So as ussual, after satisfied surveying our room, all of us started to cook for dinner (Segregation of duties like in Windang still applied).
Since we bought seafoods this time, Lina and Bamalex prepared a Seafood Tom Yam, which just perfect in this cold weather!!

Cooking experiment by Lina but all her dishes deserved a thumbs up!!

Our menu : Stir-fry vege, plain pasta, scrambled eggs and Tom Yam seafood

Can you believed it? We had Tom Yam in Sydney!!!

We dined together. Great foods with great members!

Once finished our dinner, we straight to bed. What a long journey we had and more adventure on the next day.
To be continued....
