iv) Crystal Cove Island.
Crystal Cove Island is one of the main stops of the Island Hopping Tours in Boracay. Located about 10-15 minutes by boat from White Beach, Crystal Cove is an Island Resort featuring white beaches, beautiful views and a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Boracay. On the island, there are walkways that will lead you from each of the different areas the two hectare island has to offer- from various picnic areas, a museum of local seashells and artwork, an aviary with some of the local birds, and of course, the island’s popular sea coves.
Open from 8:00am until 5:00pm and there is an entrance fee at PHP 200, however it was included in our island hopping package.
It was our 3rd place of visit that day. Quite relief as there was no adrenaline rush activity here... We just had a tour around the island and into the coves.
Got off from the boat.
We walked to the entrance.
But before that, Alex helped us to take group photo together.
Not one but twice!
Alex briefed us a bit about the island.
Replica of this tiny island.
Walking around Crystal Cove is a peaceful and relaxing way to really take in all of the 360˚ views. The pathways cut throughout the island lead you to several spots around the island to stop and enjoy the scenery or take photographs. Just take your time to enjoy all the local flora and breathe in some of the sea air here.
Photo taken inside the island.
It is very good place to click loads of photos as it offers a very beautiful background. Definitely will make all the photographers go gaga.

Crystal Cove Island was formerly known as Tiguatian Island. The main picnic area is made up of several huts and buildings created using rocks and materials from the surrounding area. With several picnic tables around, there are plenty of space for private gatherings with your friends or loved ones.
What a view with Sibuyan Sea as background.
Plenty of huts for picnic and walkaway to another part of this island.
Look at the clouds. The weather during this island hopping trip was not a perfect blue sky one, it was cloudy as it was early monsoon season. But looking on the bright side, luckily the sea waves were not so rough and safe or else, there will be no island hopping for us at all.
Back to our trip, Alex then brought us to enter crystal cove. There are two coves available here, and we went to the one nearer with the main picnic area, which is Cove 1.
In order to view the waves splashing against the walls of the cove, we needed to descend down a skinny spiral staircase where directed us to the center of Cove 1. Be careful where you step because the rocks can get slippery! Inside this cove, we found rock formations and crystal clear water.
The rock formation inside the cove. Fairul chose to just stay outside with son Danial.
Cove 2 can be found on the other side of the island from Cove 1 and the main picnic area. This second cove is a little trickier to access, as you have to walk down a bamboo lined pathway through the water into a large, open cave. Be prepared to duck down low, because in order to access the actual cove, you’ll need to crouch down through a small tunnel in the cave that leads you to the opening of Cove 2. Cove 2 is a slightly larger cove than the first one where the waves crash a bit more violently.
As the steps were quite dangerous, this time Bamalex also not joining us. This photo didn't do justice to this place where the actual view was very pretty with turquoise water. My phone's battery was very weak so most of the photos inside here were blurred. This was the best that I got. Sorry......
After spending few moments enjoying the view of the Sibuyan Sea inside the cove, we went out and continued to explore the rest of the island’s beautiful offerings.
It was a bit windy this time.
A not so complete "Crystal Cove" sign.
There's a museum here so we entered. A bit about the museum, the oceanic wildlife surrounding the areas around Boracay and Crystal Cove is a thriving community of several different specimens of fish, coral, sponges, shellfish and other species of marine life. In the museum, you’ll find various examples of some of the more exotic mollusk shells as well as several paintings by some of the local artists.
It was not a big museum, so about 10 mins or so... we finished viewing inside the museum and went out.
Museum made from layers of stone.
Along the way from crystal cove 2 back to the main picnic area, we passed by these unique huts made from woods and stones which reminded me of Flintstones hut!
Very nice.
A place where you can gather with family and friends for picnic. Bring your food and have a picnic here with a very nice view to enjoy. Superb!
Selfie.
Signage. Back to Cove 1.
Iconic finger seats at Crystal Cove. Don't forget to find these seats when you come here and took photo with it is a must!
Me posing with the signage.
One of my favourite group photo due to it looks clear and bright.

After spending about an hour here, we moved to our final destination. But before that, we had final photo shoots at the beach.
With Fizah and Danial. He seems scared to let his feet touch the water.
In love with this island.
Yoga post.
So far, this part of our island tour is the most memorable. The scene on top is breath taking! Whether you want to walk around the island and explore all its features, or just hang around on the beach and play in the water, Crystal Cove provides a leisurely getaway during your visit to Boracay.
So we back to our boat and bid goodbye to Crystal Cove with full satisfaction.
