" Putri Selinda Aka-Nick : Lyn, Aquaria dis week jom.Kang kempunan plak aku tak g lg ke sana huhuhu
Hazelin AR : Admission fee = RM30++. Kau nak belanje ke?
Putri Selinda Aka-Nick : iya sudah tentu "
It’s all how it started. My best friend (Nick) is like a weekend planner for me who always finds a brilliant activity to slot in our weekend anytime when we’re not back to our hometown or when we’re desperately free. Well it’s a SINGLE girl things… hahahahaa. We finally planned to visit Aquaria KLCC!!
If you are agree with me, I felt embarrass to be KL resident, stay in KL and more worst born in KL but didn't even reached to one of it’s most attractive place. Added to my guilty when I had already visited Aquaria/Underwater World (whatever they called it but the concept is similar) in Singapore and Langkawi, so I started to think “Haiya yg jauh U can go…. This one just nearer pun U x sampai lagi ka??”
Adoi… dat's what bothering me so I accepted Nick's invitation with open heart (plus it was on her treat hahahaha). Yeahh there is absolutely no reason to say NO.
That was it, on Sunday 5th of April I drove out from my house after lunch (well can’t resist a lunch meal from my sister lorr..) then headed to Nick’s house. I parked my car there and swapped to her car straight to KLCC. It was raining so the idea for something “indoor” was really a good idea. It was the same day where F1 racing held at Sepang, however due to weather condition, the game was re-scheduled to end earlier. See.... like I said indoor xtvt was a perfect option.
Well a bit info about Aquaria KLCC, it is a world-class aquarium that showcases animals and various types of colorful marine life species from Malaysia and around the world that is located in KLCC, adjacent to the PETRONAS Twin Towers nearly in the heart/centre ok KL city. (Dats why I told you it is unforgiven for those who didn’t visit here yet but can spent almost every weeks to watch movie at KLCC). A visit to the Aquaria KLCC will take you through a journey of discovery in education as well as eco- tourism, supported by the latest technology with a mesmerizing ambience. Interactive kiosks are also available for visitors to go on a virtual adventure in exploring other exciting creatures that inhabit the world’s ocean
Most of the visitors are student group since it’s an educational place and really suitable for a school trip. There is a screen projectors along the Discovery Zones of the aquarium with fascinating information and facts on the wonderful animals exhibited within Aquaria KLCC. Entrance fee for a citizen adult is RM28/person while RM22 for children. Compare the price with what we had experienced, saw, learn and discovered here was really worth it. The decoration and arrangement are really attractive and interesting. The place is divided into several sections depends on types or species of underwater life and not to be miss an underwater walkway tunnel that awaits you towards the end of the exhibition. It made us felt like walking in a glass tube inside a deep ocean coz we can see sharks and other ocean fishes swimming right above our head and even a sinking ship.. (a titanic perhaps..). The rich marine life is seen through the acrylic class as you walk underneath it. This really suits the objectives of this place as a learning centre for marine inhabitants, to understand its importance and role in balancing the ecosystem and educated us to protect and preserve it.
Ok la cakap banyak pun tak guna, I know what are U all waiting for.... Presenting to you photos from my loyal Olympus FE380. Hoyeee…enjoy..
